Hi Y’all! My name is Samantha Banks and I am currently a senior at The University of Texas at Austin. When I got to college, I started to paint my family and friends who were far away small watercolor cards to let them know I was thinking of them. It was so much fun to think of designs that were specific to them instead of just picking up a generic card in the store. This hobby eventually evolved into making cards for friends and family to give to other people. I love the idea of celebrating someone even when there isn’t a designated occasion. So, Broadgreens was born! These cards illustrate the simplicity in celebration. They’re made to be sent for big reasons and for no reason at all!
